Enterprise Agile Coaching, ICP-ENT
Today’s organisations face increasing disruption with reduced control. To be successful, we need to see what is helping and hindering our ability to be fully adaptive, and guide our organisations toward greater enterprise agility.
Description
For our organisations to survive and thrive in this fast-paced, volatile, uncertain, and complex world, we need to reconsider our organisations design to be more adaptive and resilient. This requires the ability to look broader than the team or multi-team divisional level, and see the whole organisation as a complex adaptive system. Seeing how the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, and how the parts contribute.
Enterprise Agile Coaching is a 4 half-day (Virtual) or 2 day (In - Person) learning experience to provide you with effective tools and frameworks for navigating and coaching the enterprise.
The course is a highly interactive combination of instructor led discussions and team-based exercises. It’s not just reading through a slide pack.
Note: To obtain the ICP-ENT certification participants are required to demonstrate knowledge, skills and mindset of an Enterprise Coach. Participants are assessed through a combination of exercises, in-class activities, and showing how to apply the learning outcomes during the course.
Learning Objectives
-
Understanding the concepts of business agility and how they extend beyond team-level to the whole organisation and exploring organisational factors that support or hinder agility
-
Reframing current structure, systems, and processes to model how they can be made more agile
-
Understanding value streams from a systems thinking perspective, including how to use an agile approach to improve end-to-end business processes
-
Assessing leadership styles and culture to identify how well agile adoption is supported or inhibited, and propose approaches to improve leadership relationships and effectiveness.
-
Putting it all into practice by assessing a case organisation through these lenses to consider potential approaches. The case studies selected should expose challenges being faced at the team, leadership and cultural levels. For in-house courses, this should ideally be the host organisation.
