EPiC Scrum Master + Agile Team Facilitator

Our Scrum Master + Agile Team Facilitator training course is a 4 half-day (Virtual) / 2 day (In-Person) dynamic, interactive and fast paced workshop, filled with practical learning experiences.

It is for anyone who needs to facilitate groups of people in workshops and meetings to drive towards agreed-upon outcomes.

You will gain insights into what is at the heart of the Scrum and Agile movement and the roles, events and artefacts of Scrum that will allow you to achieve your objectives best and assess the efficiency of your practices.

Scrum is a framework that fosters collaboration within self-organising, cross-functional teams to solve complex problems faster & deliver greater value. 

ATF focuses on effective facilitation to amplify team performance by guiding discussions, enabling collaboration, navigating business challenges, & helping teams and stakeholders create a clear path to the end goal.

Participants will come away with a wide range of facilitation skills, practical tools and techniques to help design and deliver engaging, effective and outcome-focused facilitated events. 

Upon completion, attendees have the option to obtain either the Scrum Master (PSM™ I) certification from Scrum.org or the Agile Team Facilitator (ICP-ATF) certification from ICAgile, or both (for an additional fee, as the course fee includes one certification).

Participants will gain practical experience working with Product Backlogs, Sprint Backlogs, KanBan boards and Burndown charts. Appreciate the importance of time-boxing and thoroughly understand the full Scrum cycle, including Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives. We provide practical knowledge delivered with best-practice instructional techniques to ensure that you enjoy the course and fully internalise the content.

• Is this a certification course?

• This is a certification course. Upon successful completion, attendees will gain access to the Scrum.org Professional Scrum MasterTM (PSM I) certification assessment or receive the ICP-ATF certification from IC Agile.

• Is there an exam? 

• Yes, there is an exam. Participants will gain access to the Scrum.org Professional Scrum MasterTM (PSM I) certification assessment post course attendance. 

• To obtain the ICP-ATF certification attendees are required to demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and mindset of an Agile Facilitator while attending the course. Attendees are assessed through a combination of exercises, in-class activities, and overall application of learning outcomes during the course.

• Is the exam fee included? 

• Yes, only one certification exam fee is included in the course cost.

• What is the pass mark for the Professional Scrum MasterTM (PSM I) certification? 

• The certification exam is 60 minutes and made up of 80 Multiple Choice, Multiple Answer and True/False questions. The pass mark is 85%.

• This course is ideal for anyone involved in product delivery using the Scrum framework, including Scrum Masters, Agile Project Managers, team members, and leaders. It is also suited for Agile Coaches, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and aspiring leaders passionate about servant leadership and mastering team facilitation and coaching within Agile environments.

• Do I need to complete any training courses prior to undertaking the course? 

• Completing previous training courses prior to attending this workshop is not essential; however, a strong knowledge of Agile and experience working in Agile environments is recommended.

• Is this course facilitator-led?

• Yes, this is a facilitator-led virtual workshop. During breakouts and group sessions, you will be able to ask questions, engage with peers, and apply your learnings.
