Whether you’re a business leader looking to embark on a business agility transformation or a team coach looking to build your credentials and knowledge in this contemporary transformation space, this course will enable you to adopt the language of leaders and convey the case for Business Agility.

 

Business Agility Foundations is a 5 half-day (virtual) or 3-day (in person) experience which focuses on the seven essential pillars of the Enterprise Business Agility strategy model, intended to jumpstart organisational and individual transformation towards a more responsive, value-driven reality.

 

Whether in person or virtual, this course is a highly interactive combination of instructor-led discussions and team-based exercises. It tackles questions across different angles of organisational change and leverages in room experience and real world stories.

You will walk away with a review of your own organisation, a growth plan / action items to help improve your organisation’s Business Agility, along with the language, tools and practices to become a change leader. Equipping  you to help your organisation to apply the vision, strategy and patterns for enterprise business agility to address the challenges faced in a volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) world.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Describe what Business Agility is and why it matters

  • Describe the key pillars of Business Agility

  • Identify the principles, practices, and tools to achieve growth in key pillars

  • Assess their organisation on their Business Agility journey and identify a potential growth plan

  • Apply Lean principles to create and drive customer-focused product while minimising effort and saving costs

Using real-life case studies and direct experience, we’ll explore the Enterprise Business Agility Model: Customer Seat at the Table, Metrics, and importantly, Sustaining the Change.

  • What is Business Agility: Complexity theory, VUCA world, Business life cycle model

  • Leadership & Culture: Leader as a coach, Servant Leadership, Motivation and Empowerment

  • Customer Seat at the Table: Hypothesis-driven product development, Personas, Customer journey, Empathy map, Growth mindset

  • Metrics: Leading Indicators, Outcomes over Output, Balancing Competing Values  

  • Sustaining the Change: Lean Change Management, Motivation and Engagement

Certifications

This is an IC Agile accredited course. Participants will receive the Certified Professional in Business Agility Foundations (ICP-BAF) certification from IC Agile upon successful completion of this course

Note: To obtain the ICP-BAF certification, participants will be assessed through a combination of exercises, activities, and discussion that demonstrate an understanding of how to apply the learning outcomes.

Do I need to complete any training courses prior to undertaking the Business Agility Foundations, ICP-BAF Course?

As this is a foundational course, no prior experience or training is necessary.

Yes, this is a facilitator-led virtual/in-person workshop. You will be able to ask questions, engage with peers and put into practice your learnings during breakouts and group sessions.
